Travelling alone, or many may call It – a solo trip to get away from everything else have been on the rise recently. More often than not, we are so cocooned in our comfort zone and stepping out of it causes fear- consciously or sub-consciously. The first step- “what if something goes wrong”, “what if I get into trouble”, “are people scrutinising me for being alone” – these thoughts will be in you for most of the time. Rather, the first few days. Trust us, after the third day, you are no longer bothered by it. You will start to embrace what’s ahead of you, and that is just the beginning.

3. Meeting new people 

Think for a minute. Our day-to-day life is being restricted in our own cubicle and surrounded by familiar faces. What are the odds of having to meet new people?  

Travelling alone can be an excellent way to meet locals and make new friends. Sometimes, you are stuck in a situation whereby communication is required. The moment you hit it off, you get a new friend! “It’s beautiful! It really is”- Aaron shared. 

4. A great boost of self-confidence! 

Travelling alone forces you to make decisions- you’ll need to settle on your own choices, helping you become progressively sure, confident and conclusive. You make decisions based on how you feel, and by doing so, realizing you did it without inclining towards another person’s opinion or thoughts. A definite boost of self-confidence for sure! You know you did it right.  

5. “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom”

By the end of your solo trip, The Tropika Club can assure you that you know yourself much better than when you first started on the trip, even by a wee bit is definitely something good.
