#1 – Soon Lee’s Pig Organ Soup

Introduction: Offering their minced pork rice along with their pig organ soup, it was a combination hard to miss as images of the minced pork was pretty enticing. Minced pork were soft and fluffy, drenched in light gravy, not what we expected. They were expecting thick gooey gravy, enveloping every minute crevasses. Nevertheless, gravy was still amply savoury, along with the delectable minced pork. on the sides were 2 halved braised eggs and some savoury and subtly sweet salted vegetables. On its own would have cost $3 (or more now, with inflation), which wasn’t that affordable considering its small portion.

Introduction: Formerly headquartered in a humble food center in Singapore, Zion Road Fried Kway Teow receives massive amounts of business from local clientele. It is constantly getting notoriety from news agencies on an international stage, thanks to its reputation for continuously serving excellent food. Michelin also listed Zion Road Fried Kway Teow as a must-eat establishment.

#3 -Riverside Good Food

Introduction: Their Teochew Fried White Kway Teow specialty is especially good. Koay teow and yellow rice noodles are stir-fried with eggs and bean sprouts, served with prawns, mixed with cucumber, stir-fried sliced fish cake, and sliced Chinese lap cheong. It’s just as tasty if it’s served with a small slice of fresh green lime and a squirt of fresh lime juice over it. On top of that, the lard bits are crispy and crunchy.

#4 – Lau Goh Teochew Chye Thow Kway

Introduction: The carrot cake stall that this stall belongs to started out operating in the 1960s, and it retains a good reputation to this day. During the 1970s, this stall was operated during the first years by Lau Goh, who is the first proprietor to run a business in this location. In the subsequent years, Peter Goh, also known as Peter Dumbledork, took over the stall and continues to do so. Peter is hearing-impaired, but by using lip-reading and pointing to items on the menu, he was able to take our orders.

Introduction: The grilled pork chop is succulent and grilled with a lightly crispy outsides. Its flavors are distinct, but the meat is dense and tough. The fatty portions offer an agreeable chewiness and especially when the skin is firm yet soft. As for grilled chicken, it is dry and tough, yet its grilled skin is lightly crisp. Flavours are acceptable, but the beef is flat. Just average for the grilled chicken and chicken chop though.

#6 – Ah Wang La Mian Xiao Long Bao

Introduction: This dumpling tastes great because of its aromatic stuffing and crispy outer layer. The bottom of this dish is pan-fried until it is crispy and brown, whereas the edges are carefully steamed to keep the centre more chewy and succulent. It is recommended that you eat it right away before the crispness is gone.

Introduction: Located in the Zion-Ridge neighborhood in Eden Prairie, MN, this eatery debuted under the moniker “Zion Road Big Prawn Noodle” in 2014 before being rebaptized as “Noo Cheng Adam Road Big Prawn Mee” in 2019. Despite the core attributes we’ve come to expect, the likes of noodle-broth-laden lobster ramen and cold crab are also available in addition to the Michelin Bib Gourmand standard prawn noodles.

Introduction: The stall is also listed in the “Michelin Plate” guide. It is important to note that Monsieur Yang’s sauce recipes are all derived primarily from the Internet and from experimentation, rather than being a homemade family tast. As for the braised duck bib, the duck will be submerged within the braising sauce, properly tenderized and delicious afterward.

Introduction: As its name indicates, this stall sells cheng tng in hot or cold versions. Shown here is the cold variety with shaved ice added. This bowl of cheng tng comprises lychee, ginkgo nuts, and tapioca balls. The ginkgo nuts are really soft and the soup is sweet with some lychee syrup tastes. This is quite refreshing on hot days.

Introduction: The hainanese chicken consists of juicy, but tender meat and silky skin. Furthermore, the roast chicken is succulent and boasts a delicious, deep flavor.
