Introduction: Peach Garden is a notable household name that is synonymous with authentic Chinese cuisine served in a warm and welcoming environment. Hunan Cuisine Restaurant

Introduction: Hunan Cuisine Restaurant serves Chinese and Hunan cuisines. They offer delicious dishes such as Chicken Stir Fried with Chicken and Golden Mushroom Steamed with Vermicelli. If you love a fresh and crunchy texture in your food, do try the stir-fried Lotus Root too. Again here, the dish is pleasantly spicy, but not overtly so, as the pleasant heat comes from lots of Ginger, a few dried chillies and spring onion.

Shang Palace


Shang Palace is an authority in Cantonese cuisine and provincial specialties. Treat yourself to deliciously prepared seafood, noodles, casseroles and tasty barbecued meats, or sample our various set menus.

Yang Ming Seafood

Introduction: This zichar restaurant serves great food at a HDB Kopitiam in Bishan.

The best dish in my opinion was the Thai Style Fried Bee Hoon ($10) as it came generous with fresh ingredients and the noodles were pretty well wok fried! There was abit of wok hei and it was flavourful. The Hor Fun was pretty normal, you can give that a miss. The Cereal Prawn ($26 for medium) had pretty sizable prawns that were fresh and sweet. The cereal pieces were addictive!

Chin Huat Live Seafood


Born with humble beginnings, Mr Low Chin Huat started out working in a butchery in the 1970s. His experience in food handling coupled with sharp business acumen brought him to establish Singapore’s first live seafood restaurant in 1995 – ‘Chin Huat Live Seafood’. The pioneer of its kind, Chin Huat Live Seafood revolutionised the local seafood restaurant scene by allowing diners to select their live catch of choice directly from the tanks. Surrounded yet almost hidden by the lush greenery of iconic dining destination, Dempsey Hill, Morsels makes her new home rustic barnyard-style. Hanging plants and tableside flowers soften the hard cement floor while adding life to the open layout room. Repurposed and reupholstered wooden furniture, as well as the walls were repainted to enhance the distressed and weathered qualities resembling barn wood. Four high chairs at the bar face the wines and spirits display wall frame one side of the room, and another four high chairs face the adjacent wall, looking right into the kitchen, marked as Chef`s Table scheduled to be launched in the second quarter of 2017. Exposed roof beams and brick walls mounted with counter tops further reinforce the interior design devised by Chef Petrina.

Chef Petrina’s experimental fusion cuisine defies boundaries and ignores attempts at pigeonholing, so to speak. She shares, “I like to work with a variety of ingredients, teasing their natural flavours to release into the mouth a trained frenzy of sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami, tempering the temperature and texture, all on one plate.” The chef-owner’s life tenets extends to the restaurant`s ethos-genuine, artisanal and approachable.
