Introduction: Another veteran of nasi padang at Kampong Glam, Sabar Menanti houses a formidable history. The founder, Haji Marlian first started selling from a small food stall over 57 years ago. After his passing in 1978, his children took over the business. At its height in 1998, the family owned altogether six restaurants. Today, the sole outlet remains at North Bridge Road.
