It’s a coveted Italian wine with aromas of cherry and ripe black fruits. Tuscan wines are, of course, from Tuscany, which is located in the Central Region of Italy. Here are some of the best Tuscan Red wines for under $80.

2. Tuscante Governo All’Uso Toscano 2018

Features:

This Tuscante red vintage is showing us the results of a rather original winemaking approach. It has been inspired by Veneto methods where there are two types of harvest – one at full ripeness and the other after being dried on the plant, or as in the Veneto they dry on racks in the cellar. In the glass, we find a concentrated juice but not too much, good notes of black cherry jam, hint of smoke around the edges and the finish is delicious, fruity and full with good yet fine tannins. A great example of an Italian wine with great provenance.
